Core offers a better experience which WalletConnect and other wallets simply won't provide. Off the bat, users have a holistic view of their holdings with preloaded data across Avalanche, Bitcoin and EVM compatible networks.

Before users can import a Fireblocks account, they need to have an existing wallet.

NOTE: Users will need to connect their Bitcoin wallet if they want to use the Bitcoin network or bridge their funds directly through Core. In order to configure this connection, users will need to set up API access in their Fireblocks account. For instructions on how to do so, please refer to this technical documentation.

  1. Users should download the Core extension on their Chrome browser.

  2. With Core unlocked, click on the active account at the top of the screen. Click on the drop-down arrow next to Create Account and select Fireblocks.

  3. Scan the QR code displayed in Core with the QR scanner in the Fireblocks mobile application or manually enter the URL to connect.

  4. Users will be prompted to connect or skip connecting their Bitcoin wallet. Select Continue or Skip based on their preference.

  5. If connecting a Bitcoin account, enter the API key and Secret key from the Fireblocks account and then click Connect.

  6. If desired, users can name the newly imported account.
