Once a transaction (tx) is initiated and confirmed on a blockchain, it cannot be reversed. The data is irreversible, and there is nothing the Ava Labs team can do to change this.

If a transaction was confirmed in error, please reach out to the exchange or wallet provider for further assistance.

Only the owner of the private keys to the wallet address will be able to access funds sent to it incorrectly. The Ava Labs team has no way to identify who owns a wallet to help recover funds.

If funds were incorrectly sent to an exchange or wallet provider's address, please reach out to their support team directly, as they hold the private keys to the wallet where the funds were sent.

Transactions that are sent directly to a token contract address or bridge contract address are unrecoverable. Please only interact with the Avalanche Bridge through https://core.app/bridge or Core's extension or mobile application.

As more exchanges and wallet providers support Avalanche native stablecoins, please check out this stablecoin FAQ for more information on sending stablecoins on the Avalanche® Network.

For any additional questions, please view our other knowledge base articles or contact a support team member via the chat button. Examples are for illustrative purposes only.
