The Validator Dashboard on the Avalanche Explorer provides a comprehensive view of staking metrics and validator statistics.

What is on the main dashboard?

Staking Overview

  • Total Stake: Displays the percentage of AVAX staked across the entire network. It also shows the total amount of AVAX staked.

  • Validators: The total number of active validators and the amount of AVAX staked by them.

  • Estimated Staking Rewards Rate: The average annual percentage return for staked AVAX, helping delegators gauge potential rewards.

  • Delegators: This shows the total number of delegators and the combined stake delegated to validators.

  • Validator Stake vs Delegation Stake: This chart visualizes the distribution between Validator Stake (the amount staked by validators) and Delegation Stake (the amount staked by delegators).

Active Validators

Lists the currently active validators on the network. Each validator is identified by their unique NodeID and displays their corresponding Staked Amount of AVAX. When clicking on a validator, the validator's details page will open up.

Active Delegators

Shows the most recent delegations made by users. For each delegator, you can see their Transaction ID, along with the Staked Amount of AVAX delegated to a validator.

What is on the Validators tab?

The Validators section provides a detailed breakdown of active validators, showing essential data points for each validator. When clicking on a validator, the validator's details page will open up. The following elements are available in the list:

  • Node ID
A unique identifier for each validator, helping users distinguish between different nodes on the network.

  • Payout Address
Displays the validator's payout address, where staking rewards and delegator rewards will be sent.

  • Avalanche L1
Indicates the L1 on which the validator is operating.

  • Total Stake
The total amount of AVAX staked by the validator, including the portion owned and delegated. This is a critical metric for assessing the validator's contribution to network security.

  • Delegator Count
The number of delegators that have staked AVAX with this validator.

  • Start and End
The time period during which the validator is active, showing the start date of their current session and the expected end date.

  • Progress
Displays the progress of the validator's current staking period as a percentage.

  • Duration
The total time for which the validator is active in its current session.

  • Validator Reward
The rewards the validator receives. This is the portion of staking rewards the validator earns for their services to the network.

  • Delegation Fee
The fee charged by the validator to delegators, represented as a percentage of the staking rewards.

  • Total Reward
The total AVAX reward (validator + delegation) accumulated during the staking session.

  • Status
Shows the current status of the validator. A checkmark symbolizes that the validation is active.

Filtering Validators

The Filter Settings allow users to refine their search for validators on the Avalanche network by adjusting the following criteria

  • Minimum Available Delegation
Set a minimum amount of AVAX available for delegation. This represents the minimum amount of AVAX that a validator has available for new delegators to stake.

  • Maximum Fee
Specify a percentage range for the maximum delegation fee. Users can filter validators by the fee they charge for delegators, with options between 2% and 100%.

  • Minimum Uptime Performance
This option allows users to filter validators based on their uptime performance. Validators with less than 80% uptime will not receive rewards, so users can choose to only see those meeting this performance threshold.

  • Minimum Time Remaining
Use the slider to set a minimum duration for how much time is left in the validator’s current staking period. This is useful to avoid choosing validators who are nearing the end of their staking period.

  • Only show active validators
Toggle this option to display only validators that are currently active and able to receive delegations.

After selecting the desired filter options, click Apply Filter to update the list of validators based on these preferences.

What is on the Delegators tab?

The Delegators section provides detailed information on individual delegators and their delegation status to validators. Below are the key elements displayed:

  • Transaction ID
The unique identifier of the delegation transaction. This allows users to track and reference specific delegations.

  • Payout Address
The address where the delegator will receive their rewards.

  • Delegated Amount
Shows the total amount of AVAX delegated by each user. The equivalent value in USD is displayed next to the AVAX amount, providing a real-world value reference.

  • Start and End
Indicates when the delegation started and when it will end. This helps delegators track how long their funds will be locked in the delegation.

  • Progress
Displays how much of the delegation period has passed as a percentage. A progress of 0.00% means the delegation has just started.

  • Duration
Shows the total duration of the delegation period.

  • Net Reward
Reward delegator earns minus delegation fee to validator, represented in AVAX along with the equivalent in USD. This gives an idea of the earnings from staking during the delegation period.

  • Delegation Fee Amount
The fee paid to the validator for delegating, shown in AVAX. This fee is deducted from the delegator’s rewards.

  • Status
Indicates the current status of the delegation. A checkmark symbolizes that the delegation is active.

This list allows users to monitor their delegation status, see how much they've staked, and track their expected rewards and fees.

Filtering Delegators

The filter allows users to sort through delegators based on their status in the staking process. The available options are:

  • Active Delegators
Displays only the delegators who are currently active and contributing their AVAX stake to validators.

  • Completed Delegators
Shows delegators who have completed their delegation period and are no longer actively staking their AVAX.

  • Pending Delegators
Lists delegators who have submitted a delegation request but are waiting for it to become active. These delegations may start at a future date.

  • All
Displays all delegators, regardless of their current status (active, completed, or pending).
