When staking your tokens through the Avalanche® web wallet you may see an error such as

"couldn't issue tx: chain timestamp (date/time here) not before validator's start time (date/time here)"

If this error occurs, make sure that the time on your computer is up to date. Once that is updated/synced to the correct time, staking can occur.
