Blockchain wallets have 2 separate varieties: hot wallets & cold wallets.

Examples of cold wallets include hardware wallets, such as Ledger, Keystone, or Trezor. These devices store the private keys offline and require physical authentication to access the funds. Paper wallets are another form of cold storage, where the private keys are printed on paper and stored securely.

Hot wallets, on the other hand, include software wallets, which are installed on a computer or mobile device and connected to the internet. Online wallets are also considered hot wallets as they are always connected to the internet and accessible through the web or mobile applications.
