Blockchain wallets have 2 separate varieties: hot wallets & cold wallets.

A hot wallet is a crypto wallet whose private keys are hosted on the internet, such as Core or MetaMask. A hot wallet allows for fast signing and sending of transactions. Because hot wallets are connected to the internet, they are typically seen as less safe than cold wallets.

A cold wallet is a crypto wallet whose private keys are stored physically and cannot be accessed by the internet, like Ledger and Trezor. Cold wallets tend to be more secure than hot wallets due to the fact that transactions are signed on physical devices rather than accessed by the internet.

We also have support for Ledger hardware wallets.
