Core Stake brings the ability to validate, delegate, and perform Cross-Chain transfers directly in Core web. This tutorial is available to assist users who wish to transfer Avax from the Avalanche Wallet UI to Core web UI.
Make sure the private key and recovery phrase for the account in the Avalanche Wallet are stored safely. The recovery phrase will be needed to log into Core. If users connected to the Avalanche wallet with a Ledger, they will need their Ledger close by to connect to Core.
Download Core extension on Chrome. The direct link to download the extension in the Chrome store can be found here.
Login to Core extension with the recovery phrase or Ledger.
NOTE: Ledger users can now connect directly to Core web. Please view this tutorial for more information.
BE AWARE! If you are transitioning from Avalanche Wallet to Core Extension with Ledger, you must select BIP44 as your derivation path during onboarding to Core Extension. If you do not, you may not be able to see all of your historical assets. More details and instructions can be found here if needed.
