Avalanche® Warp Messaging (AWM) is the newest feature included in Banff 5 (AvalancheGo v1.9.5) released on December 22nd, 2022. AWM brings fast, reliable native communications to all Avalanche Subnets.

AWM allows for native communication between any 2 blockchains on different Subnets, including the passing/verifying of arbitrary messages to and from each other without the need for a bridge. It is compatible with both Subnets and Elastic Subnets.
