When withdrawing AVAX from the Binance exchange, users have several choices in which chain to use. The correct chain is the Avalanche C-chain. However, if a user accidentally chooses the Binance Smart Chain (BSC/BEP20) network the exchange will instead send a Binance Pegged (BEP20) AVAX token along the Binance chain, not to the Avalanche network.
To revert this and get AVAX onto the Avalanche chain from the Binance exchange, follow the steps below.
Note: If using a Ledger, first connect the Ledger to a MetaMask wallet
Send the BEP20 AVAX back to Binance.
Restart the withdrawal process and choose the Avalanche C-Chain network.

Note: As of December 22nd, 2022, AVAX is not natively supported in Ledger Live. To store AVAX on a Ledger, users need to use a third-party wallet, such as the Core web, Core browser extension, or another EVM-compatible wallet.
